Bridal Salon Hours Update

In order to offer our brides our undivided attention we have updated the bridal salon hours. Please note that Saturday's will now be by appointment only. Call us to schedule a private appointment.

Appointments are an hour and a half long and provide the bride and her party an opportunity to explore our collection with the help of an experienced bridal attendant. We provide refreshments and an inviting atmosphere to make the experience as special as the occasion she is shopping for. Here are some of our recents brides:

Xtabay Brides Revisited

I can't believe it's been a whole year since we opened the Bridal Salon! I was going through my old files and found a folder Holly Andres had sent me last year. In it were pictures she had taken of models wearing Xtabay wedding gowns (all of which have now sold) in the brand new Bridal Salon. Being a modern girl I was only interested in looking at the color pictures she'd taken. I failed to ever see them in black and white! So I was surprised when I looked and realized how fabulous they were. So I thought I'd share them with you:)

Xtabay Vintage Bridal Salon is excited to be featured in the Oregonian coming up soon this month. Here are some shots of an Xtabay bride during a fitting with our seamstress Erin--while being photographed by Ross Hamilton of the Oregonian.

Do you recognize the gown she purchased? It's one of the gowns above--I think she looks stunning!

Thanks for looking!

Xtabay Wedding Gowns Come To Life

Jade and Cory in the Park Blocks of Downtown Portland shortly after their wedding ceremony at the Old Church.
Jade wears a 1950's embroidered tulle tea-length wedding dress from Xtabay Bridal.

Bessie wears a 1950's couture tulle and lace gown by Mary Carter.

Malinda and her husband look blissful after their wedding ceremony, Malinda wore one of our vintage inspired hollywood glamour gowns.

Emily poses in her 1950's Priscilla of Boston Wedding from Xtabay Bridal. Emily appeared on "Say Yes To The Dress" and had to come all the way to Portland, Oregon to find her dream wedding gown. She will be wed at the Grotto in NE Portland. Can't wait to see the wedding pictures.

Caryn and Mike had a sophisticated ceremony at the Portland Art Museum, Caryn chose this gorgeous cotton eyelet dress by 50's designer Pat Premo. Love the shoes! On both of them!

Congratulations to all of them! Xtabay Vintage Bridal Salon is open by appointment or stop in on Saturdays when we are open to the public. Keep sending me wedding pictures! I love to post them:)
