I'm sad about Elizabeth Taylor. She was my first fashion idol. I used to draw pictures of her when I was little. I even owned her first perfume when I was twelve, I think it was called Passions? It came in a big gaudy purple bottle. I think she may have liked the violet blue chiffon dress I just got in. It's the color of her eyes... The neckline may be a bit conservative for her but hey, it's pretty good. Sweet dreams Elizabeth, we'll miss you.
What a nice tribute! She and Sophia Loren are my favorite old-time glamour movie stars.

ReplyDeleteWhat an incredibly beautiful and talented woman she was. In spite of all of her human frailties - which we all share - she did so much to contribute to AIDS awareness and research. In doing so, we will never know how many lives she was and continues to be instrumental in saving.
